Lady Fingers

Monica Weber
Guitar and Vocals

Fingers wasn't born a lady, of course. The dexterity the gods bestowed upon her at birth was not apparent. And then came the typing course in Jr. High School. Her digits flew over the keys with remarkable accuracy and speed. Tapping on tables, finger pointing, and snapping soon followed. One finger gestures were a matter of course, of course, sometimes getting her into trouble with the authorities who did not appreciate her special gift.

But how useful can double jointed thumbs be? What fortunes are to be made from this singular talent? she thought.

Even though her perfect "okay" sign (on both hands!) was widely regarded as the best ever attempted, she longed for a larger purpose for her uncanny dexterity.

And then she saw it in a shop window - a $60 guitar. From there Fingers took to it like a worm takes to dirt. Unimportant things like college and jobs and friendships were put aside for this bewitchingly sonic magical six stringed wooden box. And master it she did.

With an enthusiastic fan base that included at least 40% of the entire population of Scio, Oregon, Fingers was bestowed her title of "Lady" and co-launched the Lady Parts project. The rest is history.

Lady Death

Jenna Hirschstein
Guitar and Vocals

Raised in Southern California, Lady Death, or Jenna Hirschstein, infuses that sound and energy into her daily life. Rooted in punk, ska, reggae, and old school rock, her passion was ignited early in life. She started singing and playing violin as a young child, performing even with the San Diego Symphony, and continued to learn and build skills in new instruments and improve her vocal range.

While she enjoys playing all genres and styles of music, her love of punk and ska fuses with the heart and soul of Lady Parts to bring something truly unique. With a powerhouse voice that could raise the dead, and enough attitude for the whole band, Lady Death comes to kill it. She loves her fellow Lady Parts and is ready to slay!

Lady Stardust

J’Aime Beck
Guitar and Vocals

J'aime Beck, Lady Stardust, is a passionate and expressive human type person originating from the cosmos. Prior to becoming a Lady Part, she has been a hard rocking  member of the melodic metal band, Hyper Sloth, in Eugene. She has also been a part of the old school rock and roll and blues band, The Devil Cat Motor Club. She loves dabbling in all sorts of genres and musical experiences. Inspired originally by her mother, she has had a passion for singing from a very young age. Like a comet, she's hurling herself out through space until she burns up. When on earth, she enjoys nature, art, and the human experience. She loves her fellow ladies and is thrilled to be a "Part" of it all.

Lady Bug

Sandra Cory
Bass Guitar

Sandy Cory, better known as "Lady Bug," is all about the good vibes and the low end. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area music scene, she previously laid down the groove for the ska band ZenKali alongside her husband, Bill Cory. (also a bass player, but he graciously switched to guitar—everyone knows the universe can't handle two bassists in the same band without exploding!) Prior to that, she was in the screamo punk band, Random Chaos, and a metal band called Dust. Offstage, Sandy swaps her instrument for family time with her hubby, kiddos and pups.

Lady Luck

Deby Fanourakis
Drums

Deby "Lady Luck" Fanourakis started drumming in grade school with the school band and continued the torture of living with her through adulthood. Her and high school besties created the band "X-Piracy" which helped her hone her skills on the kit as well as working with an all male band. There were many more bands to come including an original blues trio, "Cherry and the Lowboys" which won the rainy day blues society trip to Memphis and recorded a few CDs! A switch to 80s rock with "Ryte Layn" for 6 years and currently she keeps the beat with "Bad Reputation", a 5 piece Eugene based band. Deby has joined girl power with "Lady Parts (The Band)" to bring something different to the music scene. Boom chick Boom!
